Big Lick Birds L.L.C. is a locally owned and operated hunting preserve offering Blue Back Pheasnts, Chukar, and Quail. The preserve is on the farm of David DeGraffenreid with an enviroment designed specifically for pheasant hunting.

Big Lick Birds Hunting Preserve is the cultimination of a life long dream of David to raise birds. In 2000, he was ready to welcome hunters for pheasnt hunting. Since then, David has added chukar and quail on his well managed habitat of milo, sudex, soy beans, sunflowers, lespedeza, and natural vegetation.

Guided hunts are available . Dave has several top-notch dogs and if your dogs are not getting the birds you purchased, Dave will be glad to come help you out with Duke or Daisy.

Big Lick Birds is not the largest preserve you might hunt but each guest receives personal attention from Dave. You are welcome into the log cabin to warm up in front of the massive stone fireplace before or after your hunt. Homemade venison summer sausage or jerky, cheese and crackers, soda, and coffee are all complimentary. Soup and sandwiches are available when pre-arranged for a modest cost.
